First-2/19-Only If You Let Me-Monica Walters

SYNOPSIS

Failure isn’t what comes to mind when one thinks of marriage. Ansley Malveaux surely thought her life was perfect. Being married with three beautiful kids, and a job she loved, was the life she’d always dreamed of. Unfortunately, after seven years, her marriage had become just that – a failure. Learning to navigate through her new life as a single mother is exhausting and takes her on an emotional journey she isn’t ready for, especially after meeting Jayden Young. Fear of moving on has her frozen in space, but Jayden is threatening to melt her heart at every turn.

Being in love with a woman that isn’t in love with him is the worst feeling ever for Jayden Young. Ansley has put him in the friend zone and he’s patiently waited for her to change her mind. His whole mission is to help her rebuild her trust in men and love, by showing her he’s trustworthy to handle her fragile heart.

As if life doesn’t have enough challenges of its own, Ansley and Jayden find themselves in avoidable situations. Situations that, if they would only be true to themselves and each other, wouldn’t arise. Ansley pushes against Jayden’s every attempt at loving her, and at some point, she wonders if he’ll ever grow tired of her rejection. Will they finally work through the fears that cripple their blossoming relationship and threaten to dismantle their friendship? Or will they choose to stop fighting for love and let their fears prevail?

SAMPLE

I shook my head slowly. She was so stubborn. I finished the rest of my food, then stood to take my plate to the kitchen to get more ribs from the pan. Ansley brought her plate to the sink as I headed back to the table. I ate my second helping of ribs while she cleaned the kitchen, softly humming. Glancing at her, I watched her hips sway at the sink and her curls bounce around her shoulders. Normally she wore a ponytail.

Had she gone through the trouble for me? I hoped not. She was beautiful, no matter what she wore or how her hair was styled. When I finished, I brought my plate to the sink and pressed my body against hers. She was washing a pot and I couldn’t help but wrap my arms around her waist. The way her body trembled made mine do the same. Slowly turning her around, I could see the desire in her eyes, and oh how I wanted to give her everything she craved. I lowered my lips to hers and kissed her softly, hoping she didn’t stop me.

She lifted her wet, sudsy hands to my cheeks and pulled me in deeper. Oh, fuck yeah. I grabbed her by her hips and pulled her body into mine. Doing my best not to be too rough, I lowered my hands to her ass and squeezed. I’d been dying for this opportunity to present itself again. Her tongue eased into my mouth as she let out a soft moan.

My dick was hard as ever, and he was ready to pounce. It had been over six months since he’d dove into ecstasy. I lifted her and sat her on the edge of the sink, then tongue kissed her neck. “Ahh, Jayden.”

Shit, her moans sounded so good. I lifted her once again and went to the couch as she wrapped those legs around me. When I sat down, the heat that landed on my shit was about to make me leak everywhere. Ansley’s eyes were closed as I gently caressed her ass and kissed her neck, then her shoulder.

I lifted my shirt over my head and began to slowly untie her wrap dress. She was grinding into me and I was about to nut on myself. “Shit, Ans,” I said softly as I looked at her erect nipples.

When I put my lips on them it was like she snapped. Ansley quickly jumped from my lap, leaving me confused and horny as fuck. I stared at her as she put her arms over her breasts and picked up her wrap from the floor. What the fuck just happened? “I’m sorry, Jayden. I can’t.”

I stood from my seat and approached her slowly. “Ans, please. I’m practically at the point of no return.”

Find out in The Way You Lie!

SAMPLE

Asharia Dupre’

“Blaze, this party is live!” Bas complemented with a fist bump over his booth. “Mind if I steal her for a second?”

“I’m okay. Really,” I spoke up looking wearily at Blaze, who nodded in agreement. Here was the one moment I needed him to be overprotective and he was just going to shrug me off. I didn’t want to be at the party let alone be alone with Sebastian Dupre’.

“I don’t bite. Just want to get you a drink that doesn’t burn your chest and maybe talk to you without having to yell,” he smiled with a whisper in my ear. His closeness was causing me to look for an exit to run away. Alexia knew better than this. She knew that stuff like this made me highly uncomfortable. Gulping nervously, he took my reluctant hand in his. “I’ll take care of you. I promise.”

I looked back at Alexia who waved me off and mouthed, “Go.”

Ending up outside with this cup clasped tightly in my hands, I fretfully stared down at the Ape juice swirl around in my cup. Blaze warned me about drinking this bathtub concoction. Sitting my drink down on the knee-high brick wall, I sighed tugging at my dress.

“Nervous?” he asked, taking a sip from his cup. “Don’t be mad at Alexia. I didn’t know how to approach you, so I asked her to throw me an assist.”

“An assist? So, I’m a basketball. Great,” I groaned with irritation that had been brewing since we got here. “Listen, I’m not really the type of girl you want. I’m not going to give it up or get all stupid over you. I don’t care about who you are or what you do. So, let’s just not waste each other’s time. Thank you, but no thank you. Tell Alexia I’ll see her later.”

Overall, I was vexed as hell. I wasn’t here for the kicks and giggles. I might have been quiet, but I was no fool. My daddy didn’t raise one of those, rest his soul. I wasn’t about to get stupid over some letters and a jersey that was worn by a tall caramel man who was chiseled just right and had a thick accent from New Orleans. I was good on that.

Walking back to my dorm room, I groaned kicking my heels off and continuing my pursuit barefoot. “Dallas!” I heard Sebastian call behind me. Looking over my shoulder to see him lightly jog towards me, I rolled my eyes and continued with my stride. “Wait up.”

SYNOPSIS

“I was certain I knew what I wanted… until you were mine.” —Aumora Puri

Aumora Puri’s most complicated secret has come forth with vengeance. Just when she thought she had it all figured out, karma erupted in a brutal, unexpected fashion. A video of her betrayal surfaced and brought her to her knees at the mercy of the man she truly loved. With her back against the wall, she’s trapped with the decision to drop the ball and escape the turmoil, or fight for the love of her life.

Kingston Neill was the ultimate package. As a man who preferred to take charge and lead, he willingly took care of Aumora’s every superficial want and need. The ruthless discovery of his lover seeking attention elsewhere took a shot at his manhood. Kingston’s livelihood was placed on the line, and being faced with the unforgivable was a hard vision to shake. Flustered at the impudent realization of Aumora’s deception, Kingston finds himself stuck in place, mentally impaired on what to do next.

In the final installment of A Formidable Love, deciding whether to hold on or let go of the one you love becomes a daunting task for Aumora and Kingston.

SAMPLE

Aumora

“You have your days, King. Sometimes you look disgusted with me and I can’t take it.” I sobbed.

Eyes closed.

Labored breathing.

Chest rising and dropping defeatedly.

I sobbed like I was experiencing a death that was too close to home. And maybe I was.

Perhaps our love would never be the same. I feared that notion tremendously.

“Aumora, c’mon, man.” He dropped his head. His deep baritone aired tired. Kingston was seemingly defeated from our unfortunate circumstance.

And it was all my fault.

“Are these sessions even helping us? It’s been three months.”

“Aumora…”

“It’s been ninety days, King. When will you forgive me?”

“I have forgiven you!” He’d raised his voice slightly, and I was taken aback.

I was immediately regretful that I’d upset him… again.

Kingston held me in his arms securely. Towering over me as I wept in his embrace, he leaned in to press his succulent, full lips against my forehead.

“You gotta stop doing this to yourself, baby. I have my days. You can’t control that.”

“I wish I could, King.” I shook my head. “I really wish I could.”

“I’m here. That’s not enough?”

“It’s everything,” I whispered. “More than enough.” I snuggled against him closely—as closely as I could get. Lying my head on his chest, I reached up to rub his thick, refined beard. “Everything,” I repeated.

“Prove it. Remind me how much it means to you when I have my days, Mora. Hold me down.” He lifted my chin with two fingers, forcing me to face him. “That time shit doesn’t mean much to me. I want loyalty. Honesty. Respect.”

“I’ve been giving you that. I would never betray you again. I promised.” Rubbing through his beard, I gazed deeply in his eyes, hoping he could read me. Kingston was always good at reading me. In this moment, I needed him to understand my heart.

The Great Debate

“I know but you have a law degree, Trey. You’re smarter than this. You’re better than this.”

“And what is that supposed to mean?”

“It means… why are you, an educated black man, placing yourself in a system that wants you dead? It makes no sense to me. Fight me.”

“Well I think working as a cop, I can change the system. Isn’t that what you teach your students? Social change sociology sociology blah blah blah?” I mocked to get under her skin. She takes her job so seriously it’s the cutest thing in the world.

Zoey scrunches up her face and says, “Yeah, but you know ain’t no cop changing shit. Say it’s for the money, say it’s all you can do because you qualify, say you have some hero complex. Say something other than shrugging it off.”

“I have no comment Zoey. Move on along.”

“See, what you not gonna do is try to make me seem crazy. There’s something up with you and this job. Policing in America is rough. It’s not easy when you have all the extra societal pressures included in your job description. So, give it to me straight no chaser.”

“Zoey, I have nothing to share. I’m a cop. I like being a cop. That’s my end goal.”

Final Sneak Peek – IN NEED OF YOU

Hey, beautiful! Here’s one final look into Deshon Dreamz “In Need of You” before it goes live tomorrow!

InNeedOfYou.jpeg

Synopsis

Synthia Gissup is no stranger to hard work. In fact, hard work is the only kind she’s familiar with. That hustle leads to a promotion that she eagerly takes. Her decision lands her in New York, at the branch headquarter for up and coming magazine, Just Us. She quickly finds that the fast-paced hustle of New York is a lot different from the challenges she faced in her hometown of Dallas, Texas. She also quickly discovers that adjusting to the workload is the least of her problems. Her biggest dilemma is her unruly attraction to her new boss, Tate Grant.

Tate has always been a front liner campaigning for not mixing business with pleasure. After an office scandal that leaves a bad taste in his mouth, Tate vowed to never get mixed into an affair – real or otherwise – with any woman in his office. That is, until the undeniable, soft spoken beauty walks into his office and gets assigned to him. Now, he battles with holding true to his stance or tossing it out the window to indulge his unyielding interest in Synthia Gissup.

Sneak Peek

Tate

She was the beauty that had sent the men in this office into a frenzy when the email blast with the news of her promotion was sent out. Honestly, the picture in that email did her no justice at all.
Based on the stirring in my gut as my eyes took her in, I could conclude that I was in trouble like a mothafucka. She was fucking breathtaking. I wasn’t being dramatic when I said that neither. She was literally the sexiest woman that I’d ever laid eyes on, and I was man enough to admit that I’d had my fair share of beautiful women. None of them, and I meant none of them, held a candle to the newly promoted Synthia Gissup.
“Is that how they are making them in Texas because shit, if so, I need to move.”
I couldn’t agree with Bryant more. I literally couldn’t. I’d move too if I knew that the city had women that looked like her.
She was quiet, and I wasn’t sure if that’s how she naturally was or if her coyness was offset by the fact that she was in a new city with new people and a different vibe.
She had a lot of hair, edgy, undercut, curly everywhere else. Her body was perfect, filling out her white blouse and pencil shirt that stopped mid-calf to perfection. Her smooth caramel skin reminded me of the Werther’s candy that my grandmother used to give me in church. I used to love them, even in my adulthood I would indulge from time to time. Her eyes were a light brown color, sparks of green in their depths. The only reason I knew that was because I spent a lot of time after they sent that email about her out, just admiring her beauty. I also had the pleasure of watching her without her seeing me when she was at the printer earlier.

Despite that notion, I leaned forward to grab her attention. Those beautiful ass eyes rounded as they made their way to me. “Can I speak to you outside for a moment, Ms. Gissup?”
I watched her nod before she grabbed her folder off the table. “Excuse us.” I stated as Ms. Gissup stood, walking around the table. I waited for her, following behind her as she walked out of the conference room. When we made it outside, she turned to me, a smile toying at her lips.
“You, uh, don’t like the numbers part I’m assuming?”
I stood there looking at her, surprised that she spoke first.
I smiled at her. “Yeah, that’s the boring part. Always has been.”
She lifted the folder to press it against her chest before inhaling. Waiting for me to let her know why the hell I had her in this hallway. I had to remember that we were in the office because I wanted to be that folder so bad. I wanted to be pressed against her. Inside of her. I wanted to be all over her. All of me. Inside, around, below – it didn’t matter. I just wanted in. In Ms. Gissup. Fuck my life.

We hope you’re ready to 1click this baby tomorrow!

FINAL SNEAK PEEK-WITH ALL MY HEART

Hey, reader!

Tomorrow, Shenaé Hailey returns with, With All My Heart and we have one more final sneak peek just for you!

withallmyheart

SYNOPSIS

For Prism Wells, her entire life has been planned out for her. That’s usually what happens when you are born and raised in Harts Fall. The medium sized old school town holds onto traditions and values that a lot of people may consider outdated – including arranged marriages.

In Harts Fall, parents choose mates for their children in order of age. With Prism Wells being the second youngest daughter out of the Wells clan, she has three other sisters that must be married before she has her chance. Unwilling to wait for an indefinite amount of time, Prism decides to not only take her love life into her own hands, but her career, too.

Graham Richardson bleeds loyalty. His values are near and dear to his heart. Anything he can do for his family or close friends he does with no questions or expectations of anything in return. This part of his character, this unwavering loyalty, is the reason he agrees to marrying the woman his parents chose for him… at the same time that he offers one of his oldest friends’ sister a job.

The second Prism Wells steps foot into his office, Graham knows she’s going to be trouble. Trouble in the most teasing and tempting way. In an instant, his desire to remain loyal to his family lessens as his desire to be loyal to his own heart builds. But will it be that easy to get out of the commitment he made or will both Graham and Prism learn that in Harts Fall, hearts can also break and stay that way.

Please note: This is a novella. Though it has a beginning, middle, and end, it is told as a short novella. If you prefer novels that are over 25,000 words in length, please skip this title and read a previously published novel by Shenaé Hailey or B. Love.

SNEAK PEEK

Graham

“This is Graham,” I answered, nodding at my father as he closed the door behind them.

“You must be at the office? That’s the only time you answer your phone like that, Almighty.”

With a smile, I sat back down in my chair. Pushing the seat back, I lifted my feet onto my desk and crossed my ankles. It didn’t matter how old we got, everyone from back in the day called me Almighty. My size and abilities on the football field brought a lot of attention my way. Attention that I admittedly ate up in my younger days.

“You know it. To what do I owe the pleasure of having the Harley Wells on my line?”

She chuckled into the phone making me smile harder. Harley was one of my closest friends. Back in high school we were inseparable. Probably still could have been that way if things didn’t get weird between us a few years ago. That was on me, though, so I tried to keep my distance from her to avoid it ever coming back up or being an issue again.

“I need a favor, Graham.”

The seriousness in her tone caused me to sit up in my seat. “Whatever you need.”

“It’s Prism…”

At the sound of her name, the rest of Harley’s words trailed off.

Prism.

The living embodiment of the definition of her name. She was both clarification and distortion, fucking up my views of life and love. They both were supposed to be things that were easy to understand, manage, and cause to prosper abundantly. But when it came down to Prism, she confused the fuck out of me.

I couldn’t understand how someone who felt so for me could be so against the idea of us.

But that wasn’t for me to understand.

The moment Harley made it clear to me that Prism wasn’t attracted to and interested in me, I cut my heart off. Detached it from her as much as I possibly could. For years, I walked Harley home just to be able to see and speak to Prism. Just to be able to be in her presence for thirty seconds. Just to be able to see her shy smile and the way she lowered her eyes when I looked at her for too long.

For a while, I thought that was her reaction to me because she was into me too, but after talking to Harley I realized that wasn’t true. Coincidently, every man she dated after that point were total and complete opposites of me. From the way they looked to the way they talked, dressed, and acted. That was all the confirmation I needed that she wasn’t for me… no matter how much my heart wanted her to be.

Tomorrow, Aubreé Pynn returns with Book 3 of the BLP Say He series, Say He’ll Be My Valentine and we have one more final sneak peek just for you!

Covering my ears with my gold wrapped Beats headphones, I started up the treadmill and began to run to Meek Mills’ “Championships.” This album was now one of my favorites and got me through the monotony of running on a treadmill like a hamster.

After six miles and a good stretch, I headed back up to my room. Exiting the elevator, I looked down the hall. I wasn’t exactly proud of taking my frustrations out on a total stranger the night before. It was only fitting to apologize for my actions.

I usually wasn’t a man to put myself out there, but something about her drew me in. Also, we didn’t exactly have a pleasant exchange yet. Hoping to turn that around, I tapped my knuckles against her door. Regretfully waiting on her to open the door, I tried to tell my feet to back up. They didn’t. They were planted.

Seeing the door pull open, she poked her head out and traced her eyes over me. With a squint of those eyes, she looked up at me oddly.

“Okay…”

“So, I want to know if you’ll join me for breakfast. Just as an apology for last night,” I spoke up after clearing my throat.

“I don’t know you.” Her eyes continued to squint with uncertainty.

“This is true.” I chuckled nervously. “But if you meet me downstairs for breakfast you could. If you’re downstairs in 15, I’ll take it as a yes, if not, no harm no foul.”

Nodding her head slowly, she flashed an uneasy smile before pushing the door closed.

I didn’t know what my brain was doing, but I prayed I didn’t regret mixing myself up with this girl. As beautiful as she may be, I didn’t need another headache.

Inhaling a deep breath, I took the knob of the door into my hand and tightened my grip around it. Opening it fully, my eyes landed on Graham immediately.

“Damn,” I whispered under my breath at the sight of him.

Somehow, time had made him twice as fine. Fine didn’t even seem like the right word to describe Graham. His skin was the color of an Americano. Rich, dark, smooth. Thick and straight eyebrows hovered over tightly upturned dark eyes. Those eyes were always dreadfully empty – until he smiled. Which was hardly ever, except when he spoke to me.

He had deep waves in his tapered fade. A medium length beard drew attention to his full, purplish brown lips. Lips I’d desperately wanted to kiss over the years. They had the type of plumpness that made you want to tug the bottom one into your mouth.

Graham stood, reminding me of his huge frame. Couldn’t say for sure, but he had to be at least six-four or six-five because my father was six feet even and Graham was way taller than him. And thicker. His frame was muscular. Like a bodyguard or someone paid to perfect their physique.

He loosened his tie, drawing my attention to the way the white, crisp button-down shirt looked against his skin. A chocolate man in white had always been my weakness. Now was no different.

“Hey, big guy,” I greeted, feeling a rush of familiarity and happiness wash over me, but I shoved it back quickly as I shook my head. “Oh my God that was so unprofessional. Hello, Gra– Mr… Attorney Richardson.”

Graham chuckled quietly, lowering his head. Robbing me of that beautiful smile and the way it lightened his eyes.

“Prism,” he greeted, smile fading as he looked into my eyes. “Close the door.”

I did. Remaining there, I cupped my hands together, pressing the folder I’d brought in against my stomach and pelvis.

“Have a seat,” Graham offered, arm extended towards the chair that was across from his.

Making my way over to the chair, I kept reminding myself of how to walk. How to breathe. How to speak. Because in that moment, only thoughts of how handsome he looked and how good he smelled were consuming me. We sat across from each other, neither of us in a rush to say anything. Graham sat up in his seat, almost as if he wanted, needed to get closer to me.

This.

I had a bad habit of doing this.

Seeing what I wanted to see instead of what was really there.

He’d made it clear that he wasn’t interested in me, and it was in my best interest – personally and professionally – if I remembered that.

“How have you been, Prism?”

My stomach felt empty for different reasons now as it fluttered. Graham held my eyes captive as he stared into them. Pulse racing, I forced myself to look away to regain my composure.

“Good,” I answered, turning back in his direction. “You?”

“Good.” He paused, stared at me as if there was something he wanted to say, but he remained silent as he licked his lips.

“Um…” I cleared my throat and dropped my head. Pulling my resume out I confessed, “There isn’t much on here, but, Harley said I had to have one.”

His smile. My God his smile. His smile was going to be the death of me. Graham reached across his desk, and as soon as he took the resume out of my hand and brushed his fingers against mine my skin tingled. Chills covered my arm as I cupped my hands in my lap. Not even bothering to look over my resume, Graham continued to trace every area of my face with his eyes.

“You don’t have any experience working in an office, correct?” He stood, and I was sure this interview was about to be over before it started.

“Correct.”

Graham nodded. He tapped the top of his desk with his pointing finger as he stared at me.

“I’m sorry.” Graham loosened his tie even more as he turned his back to me and walked over to the window. I hadn’t even bothered to look around, didn’t care how anything looked other than him. “I don’t mean to keep staring at you but…”

“It’s the nose ring, huh? I would have taken it out, but I just got it done. And if I take it out it will close almost immediately. But I can go back to the shop and have them to put a clear, plastic stud in if I get the job.”

“No.” Graham turned, and I swear the light of the sun shining through the blinds hit his skin just right. So right he looked like divinity in disguise. Like an angel right before my very eyes. “It’s not the nose ring. It’s… you’re beautiful.” He slowly walked back over to his desk. “You’ve always been beautiful, but, you’re…” A small smile formed before he licked his lips. “Grown woman beautiful now. Not that I looked at you like that when you were underage it’s just…”

“I get it,” I blurted, not wanting him to say anything else that would confuse my heart.

I knew I was beautiful, and I wasn’t surprised by Graham’s compliment. Looks apparently didn’t mean anything to him, though. Otherwise he wouldn’t have made it clear that he didn’t see me that way and that I wasn’t his type.

“Thank you. You are as handsome as you’ve always been.”

Massaging his chin, Graham nodded as he sat back down.

“As far as I’m concerned you have the job. We already have a receptionist, so I would need to work something out with my parents and the other two partners here at the firm. I could bring you on as my personal assistant if you’re comfortable with that or make Hillary my parent’s assistant and you the office receptionist. Would you be comfortable working closely with me?”

Hell no.

Hell yes.

I nodded, unsure of what would come out of my mouth if I opened it.

Final Sneak Peek

At five minutes to four a knock sounded at my door and I knew it was Kade. Punctual was definitely a trait he always had.

Slowly I made the walk from my bedroom to the door. For some reason I was nervous which didn’t make any sense. This was a man I had known for pretty much my whole life, but I was nervous. Everything just felt different.

Sighing, I smoothed out my shirt before opening the door. And I’d be damned if my mouth didn’t go dry.

Maybe it was because we hadn’t seen each other or maybe it was just because Kade Victor was a sexy ass man. Blemish free skin the color of toffee with underlying hues of red that reminded you of cinnamon.

Beautiful brown eyes that I swear changed colors in the sun and his smile, my goodness, that man had smiled me out of some panties I had yet to get back. I never met Kade Sr., but if I had I’d thank him for his contribution to the son he created.

Kade was a man, man. Tall, muscular, and down-right commanding. I could see how a whole regime was under his authority. The mere thought of Kade in uniform had my tongue not so subtly gliding across my bottom lip. It had been quite a while since I had seen him in camo.

“Amani Grant, I’m trying to be a gentleman, but if you keep looking at me like that we won’t be leaving any time soon.”

Bringing my eyes to his, I saw the truth of what he spoke shining in those brown irises. Blushing, I dipped my head. Kade stepped closer to me, lifting my chin. That pink tongue slowly licked those full brownish pink lips that I remembered were softer than cotton. I released a frustrated sigh wishing like hell he’d kiss me. I missed those lips, but more importantly, I missed him. I wasn’t certain if he could read my mind or what, but he finally put me out of my misery. Kade tilted my head, and before he reintroduced our lips, he searched my eyes and smiled softly.

“I missed you.”

I didn’t have a chance to respond because his lips were on mine, but he had to know from the moan that reverberated from my throat that the feeling was mutual. When Kade pulled away I literally felt the pout replace his lips before I could catch myself. He leaned his forehead against mine. “I’ll give your body everything she craves, after our date.”

He planted a quick kiss against my lips before stepping out of my reach. “Where’s your coat, beautiful?”

I still didn’t have any words. I just pointed to the closet to the right of the door. Kade chuckled at my speechlessness before turning to get my coat. He opened it and smiled, and I whimpered. I couldn’t put that damn coat on right now. I had to go change my damn underwear.

Under my breath I said, “I’ll be back,” as I walked away to change my panties and reapply my lip gloss.

FINAL SNEAK PEEK

____

Licking my lips and lightly smirking, I dropped my bag down and strolled coolly towards the door. Only having a couple ounces of cool left when it came to A’Myra, I had to use it whenever I could. Reaching the door, I smirked at her dressed in leggings and a t-shirt. Her hair was pulled into a tight ponytail allowing me to see her face. The few times I saw her, it was always down and hung over her shoulders. Unlocking the door and letting her stroll through the door, once she was inside the building looking around, I locked the door. Turning my body to her, I allowed my eyes to trace her frame before she could turn around and catch me.

A’Myra was nothing short of fine as hell.  She stood around five-feet-six-inches to my six-foot-four-inch frame. Her skin was flawless, even pigment, and glowed like bronze. Her full amber eyes held me hostage every time she flashed them in my direction. I wondered if she knew that I would say whatever she wanted when she wanted.

As a man, I prided myself on not getting caught up out the gate and remaining in control of every situation I found myself in… but A’Myra. When I was around her, my power was scarce, couldn’t say it didn’t scare the living shit out of me. In the same token, I welcomed her consuming my being with every piece of hers.

“Are you going to stare at me with your mouth open, or are you going to let me punch you in the face?” Her full lips smirked as she looked over her shoulder at me.

Remembering my proposition, I traced my bottom lip with the tip of my tongue before I nodded my head. “Got you but wrap your hands up first. I don’t need you crying that I broke your hands.”

F*d and f*ing enjoyed to the fullest,

and he does that for me.

Sometimes,

Without even laying a finger,

On my caramel skin.

He knows how I like it.

How to hold me,

When I need it,

and every time I want it.

He feeds the sexual lioness in me.

And she was always hungry,

for his lovin’,

because he loved on me.

So intensely,

He moved in me with so much passion.

I lost contact, with reality,

And ended up in a space,

Where p*y controls time.

Just thinkin’ about him,

Or just the sound of his voice,

He does something to my c*t,

I can’t stop myself,

From all he makes me feel.

Love, lust, passion, elevation.

He’s a lifeline,

In a lifetime.

I never want to feel with doubt,

Only fine f*g

Both, of the mental, and physical kind.

Sneak peek

In the parking lot, I felt and smelled her behind me. Turning to face her, I smirked. I knew she would come around at the sight of the money. With the summer sun hitting her face, I could see the light brown tint to her eyes. Her hair was curly and pinned to the side of her heart shaped face. I slipped my bottom lip between my teeth as I eyed her beautiful womanly body. She had an ass that needed its own zip code and hips perfect for cuddling in the winter time.

“First, let’s make something clear, you can’t buy my attention. I can pay for my own damn pedicure. That was very rude,” she fussed, attempting to block the sun from shining in her gentle eyes. Kali was short and built up like an ice cream sundae. Perfect for licking and making a mess. I moved to help and get a good look at the odd dimple in her face. I was taller than her, so I stood over her and hid the sun. The closer I came the more she stepped back. “Here.”

I ignored her, not taking the money back. I meant what I said. She needed to call me. The money wasn’t a concern of mine, and I meant no disrespect, but what I wanted, I wanted. Her fussing and huffing wasn’t going to change that fact.

“Who let you down, baby? I can fix it.”

“I said what I said, now how you take it is your business. You don’t know Deon, you could have gotten hurt.”

“Do I look like a nigga that cares about Pretty Ricky hurting me? That nigga didn’t want no smoke,” I replied looking at her. She clearly didn’t know much about me and that made me want to pursue her even more. Deon would have got his block knocked off in two seconds flat.

“Yep, it’s official, you are nuts, and I really must go.”

“Have a good day, Kali,” I said unlocking my car and sliding in. She stood there for a minute mouth ajar. Rolling down the window, I tossed the box of condoms out at her feet and let her know the truth. “I don’t care about the money, I want the call. Condoms in your court. You gon’ ball or jack ball?”
