Hey, reader!

Tomorrow Shenaé Hailey returns with book two of the Harts Fall Series, With All My Love and we have one final sneak peek to share with you!

He left. As if we had nothing left. – Prism

A month has passed since quite a few secrets were revealed. Secrets that had the power to destroy what Graham and Prism were trying to build before it was fully established. During that month, Graham focused on clearing his mind in preparation of claiming his woman. But… during that same month… Prism learned to live without him. Again. Will Graham be able to regain her love and trust, or will this be one time that absence does not make the heart grow fonder?

He was leaning against the side of his boat, but Graham was making no effort to go out onto the lake. It was as if he was waiting for something. For someone. For me. I started to get back in my car and go somewhere else, but I was tired of running from him. Besides, this was my lake.

Deciding not to speak to him, because he hadn’t cared about speaking to me for a whole month, I went over to the bait stand to grab my usual. Finding out it was already paid for had me groaning underneath my breath as I walked over to my boat. I was hoping I could get out onto the water before he spotted me, but when I felt someone standing behind me I knew that wouldn’t be the case.

“Hey,” he spoke softly, and his voice affected me just as much as it always did.

“Hey. You didn’t have to buy my stuff.”

I turned to face him, regretting it immediately.

This was too much. My feelings for him were too much. And he left me. Left me as if we had nothing left. To deal with my feelings alone.

“It’s cool. Prism, I…”

“I’m not ready to talk to you yet,” I confessed.

“That’s understandable.” His fingers went under my chin and he lifted my head. “I just want you to know that I’m here.” His hand cupped my cheek. “And I’m not going anywhere.” His fingers grabbed the tip of my hat and he used it to tug me closer. “Ever again.”

I nodded, opening my arms to take him in. Graham lowered himself to me, letting me enter what had become my sacred space. His arms. His chest. He held me until it didn’t hurt as much. Held me until I went numb. Held me until I got angry over him denying me of this all over again. Then I pushed him away.

If you haven’t read book one of this series, With All My Heart, I recommend reading that book. It’s a foundational story to our characters and will bring you up to speed with everything pertaining to Graham Richardson and Prism Wells.
